Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

2021 has been a very tough year for me, but it's been a cracking year for British Speedway. The old guard Peterborough Panthers won an electric premiership final in front of the cameras and a bumper crowd, proving age isn't everything! Poole won the second division Championship title at the first attempt after dropping out of the top division, the first playoff held in November. Glasgow has come so close and fallen just short for another year!

Then, of course, Team Great Britain's historic victory at the National Speedway Stadium, breaking the 32-year duck at long last! When you think of some of the riders who've pulled on the union jack race jacket over the years, it's remarkable we haven't won it since the 1980s! Anyway, I hope 2022 is prosperous and healthy for you and your families! The blog will be back on Saturday 8th January 2022.
